James Frawley, ChFC, CFS is a founding partner of Westside Investment Management. He has been dedicated to assisting his clients in addressing their financial goals for over ten years. He is a graduate of California State University Northridge, where he received a BA degree in Business Finance. He continued with his studies to achieve the ChFC Chartered Financial Consultant in 2001 and recently achieved the CFS Certified Fund Specialist designation. James is a General Securities principal (Series 24 registration), a General Securities representative (Series 7 registration), a Uniform Securities Agent (Series 63), and Life and Health licensed. Securities registrations are held with LPL Financial. James has been involved with the LAX/Marina Chamber of Commerce, been a member of the L.A.chapter of the FPA, Financial Planning Association and a member of the LPL Financial Chairman’s Club (top 8% of reps based on revenue). James resides in Westchester, California with his wife Racquel, their three children and two dogs. When not working, James commits his energy to his family with activities involving golf, boating, camping and water skiing. |

Todd Clark, CFS, is a founding Partner of Westside Investment Management. Todd began his career in Los Angeles in 1992 with American Express Financial Advisors, and earned national recognition for his financial planning and management achievements. He was initially recognized as a member of the Advanced Adviser Group in 1994. In 1995, Todd was appointed as a District Manager in the West Los Angeles office of American Express Financial Advisors. In this position he hired, trained and led a team of advisors for six years.
Todd’s credentials, registrations and licenses include: Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from Oklahoma State University, Certified Fund Specialist (CFS), completed the CFP Professional Education Program, General Securities Principal (Series 24), General Securities Representative (Series 7), Investment Adviser Representative(Series 65), Uniform Securities Agent (Series 63), and Life and Health Insurance License. Securities registrations are held with LPL Financial.
Todd specializes in asset allocation and wealth management and credits his success to the personalized, caring approach he takes in helping clients work toward financial independence.
He and his wife Shelley have been married for 15 years and have two children, Alysse and Sage. Todd enjoys water/snow skiing, reading, hiking, and martial arts. |

Mark L. Cohen Partner

Mark Cohen has been a financial advisor since 1986. He developed an investment philosophy and discipline early in his professional career which has resulted in a consistent methodology and applications.
Mark has worked at several major Wall Street firms including Morgan Stanley and Smith Barney. His 20+ years of experience has allowed him an inside view into how the large brokerage firms operate, the strengths and weaknesses of their products and their marketing practices.
Mark's insight into the complexities of asset management is derived from his extensive experience of directly managing investment portfolios. "I have an education that can only be learned, it cannot be taught. Instincts, intuition and judgment are skills that are developed over time, they do not come from a book or a classroom."
Mark obtained his bachelor's degree in Business Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 1984 and an accounting degree from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1994.

Vetea Ribet Branch Operations Manager Santa Monica

Vetea Ribet is a native of the island of Tahiti, in French Polynesia. After graduating from high-school in Tahiti in 1997, he decided to pursue higher education in Los Angeles, California. He spent three years in a junior College, and then transferred to Pepperdine University in 2001, where he pursued his studies in Business. He graduated from Pepperdine in the Fall of 2002, with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis on Finance. Vetea is an LPL Registered Sales Associate and holds the General Securities Representative (Series 7) and Investment Adviser Representative (Series 66) securities registrations with LPL Financial.
After spending a year of training at American Express Financial Advisors with the firm of Salo, Clark & Frawley, Vetea joined Todd Clark & James Frawley to help create Westside Investment Management with LPL Financial in the Spring of 2004. Vetea’s main responsibility is to supervise the operations of the office by creating and implementing systems that will enable the advisor's to deliver timely advice. Vetea brings innovative ideas to the firm by expanding the systems and technology to enable the partners to deliver high end service.
Vetea plans to extend his stay in California to increase his business experience with the team of Westside Investment Management and hopes to soon become a LPL Financial Advisor.
A renowned athlete in Tahiti, Vetea was also recognized locally as a prominent member of the Santa Monica Track and Cross-Country team from 1998 through 2001. Born and raised on an island, his favorite hobbies revolve around ocean-related sports such as kite boarding, wake boarding, spearfishing. The Tahitian-born does not forget his origins as his favorite vacation spot remains Tahiti. |

Adam Scott LPL Financial Advisor

Adam Scott came to Westside Investment Management from a successful career in the Entertainment Industry. Adam received an honors degree in Economics from Bristol University in the UK, and worked as a Commodity Trader for Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette in the City of London. Adam is an LPL Financial Advisor and holds the General Securities Representative (Series 7) and Investment Advisor Representative (Series 66) securities registrations through LPL Financial. He continues to work closely with those in the Entertainment Industry. Adam’s deep interest in Macroeconomics gives him a passion for this business.
Adam and his wife, Cynthia, who is a deputy for County Supervisor Zev Yaroslavsky, live in the beautiful mountain community of Topanga, California, with their three children. Adam enjoys coaching his daughter Elizabeth’s soccer team, and participating with his son Oliver in Palisades Troop 85 Boy Scouts. Adam also enjoys being on the board of the Topanga Chamber of Commerce.

Tracy Wall
Operations Manager Oklahoma City Office
Tracy Wall joined the Oklahoma branch of Westside Investment Management in August 2009 from the asset management firm Foster Wealth Group. From February 1998 through November 2006 Tracy was employed with Lucent Technologies (formerly part of AT&T) which spun off into Avaya, Inc. in 2000. At Avaya, Tracy was a dedicated account manager for a Fortune Top 10 client and worked with a team of over 20 including sales executives, national service managers, and software engineers and served as the single-point-of contact for her client.
In her current role, Tracy is responsible for all administrative/operational functions within the Oklahoma City office. These roles include everything from managing office supplies and opening accounts to creating detailed reports and handling client requests. At Westside Investment Management, Tracy hopes to grow her knowledge of the financial advisory industry and to continue to learn the art of finance management. Tracy attended the University of Central Oklahoma as a vocal music education major and also took satellite classes from Oklahoma State University and Oklahoma City Community College. Tracy has been married for 24 years and has four children. |

Billy Luu Branch Marketing Associate
Billy Luu joined Westside Investment Management in September 2006. Some of Billy’s main duties include assisting with marketing efforts and providing financial planning support and investments related support. This includes gathering and entering client data, interacting with clients to update information, and keeping the senior planner informed of planning issues. Billy also helps with systems and technology, as well as portfolio reviews. Billy conducts a multitude of other essential tasks on a daily basis that ensure the efficient delivery of services to our clients from depositing all client checks to the coordination, production, and distribution of our Quarterly Newsletter.
Prior to joining the firm, Billy spent four years as a research assistant for the UCLA Psychology Department and one year with the UCLA Purchasing Department. Billy is a graduate of UCLA with a BA in Business Economics and Psychology and a minor in financial accounting. On a personal level, Billy enjoys traveling, exercising, and trying new foods. |

Professional Intern Program
Westside Investment Management works with local colleges and universities giving two interns the opportunity to learn about the financial industry through the company internship program. The internship program is designed to benefit three parties: the intern, the staff, and the client. During the program, interns work on various finance related projects ranging from reviewing performance to creating and documenting our office “systems”. Interns are motivated to critique how things work around the office and to make suggestions on how we might want to improve efficiencies and technology. Some daily activities include administrative work, general office duties including scanning, shredding, photocopying, and filing. Overall, interns add tremendous value to our company by freeing up time for the advisors and staff to focus on providing excellent client service. | |
